through educational opportunities. |

Welcome to The Etowah Education Foundation’s website
The Etowah Education Foundation is a community-based scholarship program committed to using our resources to help students achieve their educational goals and dreams. Thanks to the
generous support of local businesses, corporations, civic organizations and individuals, the EEF has awarded in excess of $3 million in scholarships in the last 26 years to
over 3000 local students.
Additionally we:
- Work with High School Principals and Counselors to provide students information regarding scholarship applications and financial aid.
- Offer FREE Financial Aid Seminars for parents.
- Sponsor the Probe Fair which all allows area high school seniors to “preview” over 90 colleges to aid in making that all important decision about which college to attend.
- Assist traditional, non-traditional (those returning to college after an extended time away), and technical college students navigate through the maze of paperwork and information that comes with college entry.
As you explore our website, it is our desire that you realize we offer more that just scholarships. We offer hope and help to those students who choose to continue their education. Also, we
hope you will feel the need to partner with us through your financial support. Each year over half of our applicants do not receive scholarships through our foundation mostly
due to a lack funding. It is our dream at the Etowah Education Foundation to provide some relief from economic barriers that would discourage anyone from continuing their education.
Sincerely,
Bill McMullen, 2009 Chairperson of the Board
