Meet Laura Walton
We’re excited to introduce Laura Walton, one of our amazing Future Center advisors. Laura has over 12 years of experience working in the University System of Georgia. She loves helping students who are still figuring out how to speak up for themselves and stay motivated to go to college, technical school, or follow another path after high school.
Laura is also an alumnus of Cartersville High School, so she knows the community well and is excited to give back to her school. She’s great at helping students find the right path and encouraging them to chase their dreams.

Meet Lindy Agan
We’re excited to introduce Lindy Agan, one of our incredible Future Center advisors. Before joining the Future Center, Lindy was a media specialist—and if you didn’t know, media specialists and librarians are some of the smartest and most resourceful people around! If Lindy doesn’t know the answer to something, she’ll find it. She’s an expert researcher and can help with almost anything.
Lindy has a keen eye for detail, which makes her especially great at helping students with their college essays. She’s fantastic at guiding students through the writing process, making sure their essays are the best they can be. Lindy also has an amazing memory and seems to remember everyone’s name, making each student feel valued and special.
