Meet Susan Altman
Susan is a retired educator who dedicated nearly three decades to Pierce County Middle School, with one year spent teaching in Brunswick. She retired in May 2025 after 29 years of inspiring students. One of her greatest joys is seeing how her former students grow and thrive through high school and beyond.
As both a proud PCHS graduate and longtime educator, Susan is deeply rooted in the community. She is passionate about supporting Bear Nation as students prepare for life after high school, believing that everyone deserves the chance to achieve their goals and aspirations.
You’ll often find Susan catching up with students and families in the halls, at the media center, or cheering at sporting events, where she loves hearing about the paths her former students—and even their siblings and parents—are taking.
